The blood type diet means that one should eat right according to the blood group. The blood type diet is very widely recommended by dieticians , nutritional scientists and physicians.There are four kinds of blood types A, AB, B, and O. The theory of evolution of blood groups which was first formulated by William C Boyd, an ‘immunochemist. Peter D’Adamo, an ‘anthropologist’ worked on blood type diet and He surveyed on the distribution of blood groups and on the basis of survey he divided population into 13 different races having different genes of blood group.

D'Adamo grouped those races together into ABO blood group , each type within this group having particular dietary recommendations:

Blood group AB : According to D’Adamo, an individual with this blood group must only consume vegitarian diet.

Blood group A : According to D’Adamo, an individual must stick to consume only green vegitables and low fat as they have thicker blood .

Blood group O : According toi D’Adamo, an individual with this blood group must consume high protein diet and they shouldn’t intake wheat products.

Blood group B : Acoording to D’Adamos , an individual must consume balance diet as they have more chances of coming over any desease and have the most flexible digestive system .

Following this diet can not only help in reducing weight but also can help in reducing the risk of deaseas coming their way.
